Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shakar was an American and British sitar artist. She is the youngest female and was the first person to receive the British House of Commons shield. Anoushka Shankar is an emerging star on sitar music. Indian sitar. She is both the daughter and student of Ravi Shankar. Born in 1982, she was raised in London. Her early years were spent between London as well as New Delhi. Her debut performance was in New Delhi when she was thirteen years old. When she moved to Encinitas CA in 1999 she received a high-school diploma. Anouskha even though she is just 17 years old, has had an extremely successful recording and performing career. Her father has been with her to numerous performances over many years. In 1998, she debuted her first single album Anourag. The following year, she released the Grammy nominated album Live in Carnegie Hall. Stage performance is a large part of her career. She has performed in a variety of famous venues around the world. Her career doesn't just comprise musical performances. In 2002, she wrote the book Bapi The Love of My Live this is an illustrated biography that is a respect to her dad Ravi Shankar. She's also appeared in. in the 2003 movie Dance Like a Man, in which she played the role of a Bharat dancer in the form of a young girl. Anoushka Shakar's career as a professional will only continue to grow and expand. We can look forward to seeing many interesting things coming from her.
